Currency / Credit Card / Banking
All Congress fees, Excursion booking fees as well as Accommodation rates are calculated in Euro (). Foreign currency, travelers cheques and Eurocheques can be exchanged at the airport bank upon arrival or at the banks located in the city. Most banks, hotels and restaurants accept credit cards. Money can be withdrawn at numerous cashpoints with a credit card or a cash card.

Neither the European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology nor the PCO (Congress Partner GmbH) accept any liability for damages and/or losses of any kind which may be incurred by the congress participants or by any persons accompanying them, both during the official activities and the excursions. The client participates in all tours and events at his/her own risk. Participants are advised to take out insurance against loss, accidents or damage that could be incurred during the Congress. Verbal agreements will not be binding unless they are confirmed in writing.
Exhibition
A large industry exhibition will run alongside the Congress. Interested companies are advised to contact the PCO at sponsors@EADVVienna2007.com or exhibition@EADVVienna2007.com.
Electricity
In Austria the electrical power is 220 volts. Attachment Plugs with two round pins have to be used.
Letter of Invitation
Those persons needing an official Invitation Letter in order to attend the Congress may contact president@EADVVienna2007.com specifying the necessary details. This service is designed only to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Congress. It should not be considered as an official invitation covering fees or other expenses.
Lunches
Lunches can be purchased in advance on the registration form for Thursday (17 May 2007) and Friday (18 May 2007). Normal or vegetarian food will be available, please indicate clearly your food preference. If you do not indicate a preference, normal food will be ordered.
Price: 23 per lunch box
Name badge
All delegates and accompanying persons will receive a name badge upon registration. For identification purposes, badges must be worn for all congress activities. Admission to the Congress will not be allowed without badge identification.
Official Language
English will be the official language of the Congress, there will be no simultaneous translations.
Presentations of accepted Abstracts
Oral Free Communications
Computer projection facilities (Powerpoint-Presentations) will be available in the meeting rooms. Presenting authors will receive all technical information and instructions prior to the Congress in order to ensure the smooth running of sessions.
Poster
Selected posters will be discussed in the Speakers Corner in the poster area of the Congress Center. Posters must fit the size of the poster board. Size: A0 Oversize (88,2cm width x 124,7cm height). Presenting authors will receive all technical information and details prior to the Congress.
Passports & VISA Requirements
Residents of EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, as well as holders of a Swiss or British passport and North American nationals do not require a visa. If in doubt, please consult a travel agency or the Austrian embassy. For further information have a look at the website of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: http://www.bmaa.gv.at/. No responsibility is taken by the organizers for the correctness of this information.
Registration
Participants and accompanying persons are requested to register in advance by filling in the on-line registration form or downloading the PDF Registration Form. If you prefer the latter, please complete the appropriate section of the Reservation Form and send or fax it to the address mentioned on the top of the form. In order to avoid double charges, please submit your registration ONCE.

* EADV is offering a year's registration without further payment to all non-members registering for the congress. This will include membership at the appropriate category, the JEADV journal and highly supported fees at EADV academic events. This also entitles you to participate in the EADV Fostering Dermatology programme. To avail yourself of this offer, please go to the EADV booth at this meeting.
** The applicants Registration Form must be accompanied by written proof of status; otherwise low fees will not be validated. When letters certifying status are sent after the early registration deadline, late fees will be applicable even when the registration forms are received before the deadline.

The late registration fee will apply for any forms received after 31 January 2007.
Registrations received after 20 April 2007 will be processed as on site registrations.
Reservations for the Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception (included in the fee) as well as for the Congress Dinner (has to be paid in addition to the fee) must be indicated on the Registration Form.
Confirmation
When appropriate fees have been received, a confirmation/invoice will be sent to participants. This authentication should be presented at the Registration Desk in Vienna.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation of participation until 15 March 2007 the registration fee will be refunded deducting a handling fee of 15 per person. After 15 March 2007 there will be no refund whatsoever. For name changes 15 handling fee will be charged in any case. Should you have any special requests for the processing of your invoice, kindly let us know when returning your registration form. We will charge 15 for the rewriting of invoices. All refunds will be made within 2 months after the end of the congress. Possible bank charges might be deducted.
Method of Payment
Payment should be made in Euros, without charges for the beneficiary as follows:
- By credit cards (American Express, Eurocard/ Mastercard, Visa)
Your card number, expiry date, credit card verification number, date and signature have to be indicated on the form - By bank transfer. Please contact info@EADVVienna2007.com in order to receive the bank details. A banking fee of 10 will be charged for every transfer.
- On site payments can also be realised in cash or by credit card.
Registration, Information & CME Desk
The registration desk will be located in the entrance hall of the Austria Center Vienna.
The CME desk as well as the information desk will be located close to the registration desk. Please pass at the CME desk on site to check the correct registration of your mailing address.
Certificate of Attendance
Registered participants will receive a certificate of attendance in their conference bags on site.
